This model demonstrates wavefunction collapse via informational pruning, suggesting new insights into quantum mechanics.
We present a visual and intuitive model of quantum wavefunction collapse based on the image of a ”Strange 4D Rose” — a structure in which all possible quantum histories branch at each Planck time step, including paths that move backward in coordinate time. Collapse occurs not by an external measurement, but by informational prun- ing: when the local information required to maintain a branch exceeds a fundamental threshold (e.g., the Bekenstein bound), that branch is stochastically eliminated. This picture recovers the Feynman path integral, explains the arrow of time as preferential pruning of backward-propagating branches, and naturally accommodates entanglement, tunneling, and decoherence. A companion paper [1] provides the formal mathematical framework, including the entropy-growth rate and explicit experimental predictions for matter-wave interferometers
