The present study aims to conduct a comprehensive analysis of research supported by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), a major organization that promotes social science and humanities research in India and plays a key role in research and development activities. Data was collected from the Scopus database, resulting in a total of 1780 publications included in the analysis, covering the period from 1972 to 2025. MS Excel and Biblioshiny software were used for analysis to meet the study's objectives. The results indicated that the majority of documents (1565) were articles, with Jawaharlal Nehru University contributing the most publications at 58. The growth rate of publications funded by ICSSR was found to be 1.29. Aznarul Islam (17) was identified as the primary author of the research funded by ICSSR.
