Does the combined 24-hour distribution of sleep, sedentary behavior, and physical activity affect obesity and cardio-metabolic health markers in adults?
Time spent in moderate to vigorous physical activity is the strongest driver of favorable cardio-metabolic markers within a 24-hour period, and its displacement by sedentary behavior has disproportionately negative effects.
