Does carotid artery stenting (CAS) have similar outcomes compared to carotid endarterectomy (CEA) in patients undergoing carotid revascularization?
Carotid artery stenting and carotid endarterectomy provide similar overall outcomes, but present a trade-off between periprocedural stroke and myocardial infarction risks.
