The article presents an algorithm, as well as analytical and prognostic capabilities of the proposed methodology for comparative inter-industry analysis of changes in the level of wages over time and determining the threats of its structural shifts compared to average characteristics in the sectors of the national economy. It is wages that create conditions for improving the material situation of the employed population, attracting additional labor resources to the economy and achieving growth in the country's GDP.
