The development of vaccines showing high efficacy against SARS-CoV-2 has offered a way to protect against the health effects of the virus. Yet national surveys suggest that willingness to vac- cinate declined throughout 2020 and may be insufficient to pro- vide population immunity.1-3 Public trust in the develop- ment of vaccines and the gov- ernment approval process represents a potential crucial reason for this hesitancy. This study tested changes in trust in vaccina- tion and vaccine hesitancy.
