This study aimed to reveal the extent to which dimensions of national identity are included in science textbooks for grades 1-4 in the global Cambridge science series at Omanis Schools. The study content five dimensions (national, social, cultural-civilization, environmental, and technological) by using the descriptive-analytical method, employing content analysis. The content of the science textbooks analyzed using various analysis units such as words, sentences, and images. The research directed towards studying five specific dimensions of national identity: national, social, cultural-civilization, environmental, and technological. The analysis form is used as an analytical tool, containing five analytical dimensions with statements distributed across the specified dimensions. The study results showed the environmental dimension had the highest frequency of inclusion, while the technological dimension had the lowest. Based on these findings, the study recommended enhancing the inclusion of the technological dimension in science textbooks for grades 1-4 within the global series. The study also recommended adding more images reflecting Omani identity in curricula, conducting further studies on national identity inclusion in textbooks for higher grades (5-12), and ensuring a balanced inclusion of all national identity dimensions in science curricula for grades 1-4, with a focus on activities that enhance the technological field.
