SUMMARYAn account of the important taxonomic characters used in the determination of Conidiobolus species is given, and their relative importance discussed. Of the 39 species of Conidiobolus so far described, 31 are recognized as valid species. Three new species, C. macrosporus, C. bangalorensis and C. nodosus are added in the present study.
