The watching brief involved the monitoring of a 14 x 12 m area of a new single house plot. The works were conducted by a tracked excavator equipped with toothless ditching bucket. Natural comprised of a mid orangey-brown silty clay overlain by pinkish brown silty clay subsoil and mid greyish brown topsoil. No significant archaeology observed during the duration of the watching brief.
