A model of compact Raman spectrometer based on the Czerny–Turner configuration with a linear photodiode array detector is presented. The optical system is based on a pair of parabolic mirrors and a diffraction grating and is optimized for the wavelength range 800–920 nm. As a result of optimization, a spectral resolution of 4.5 nm was achieved at overall dimensions of 87 × 98.5 mm.
