An archaeological evaluation was conducted at the Barn Church, Culloden, Inverness in advance of the construction of a café and parking area (Planning Reference: 20/04173/FUL). The requirement arose due to the potential for buried archaeology. Fieldwork was carried out on 13th March 2023, comprising the excavation of five trenches. No archaeological features were present in any of the trenches.
