Archaeological watching brief assesses site conditions, revealing no features in the house footprint area.
A watching brief was carried out for the house footprint and a laydown area at 4b Seilebost, Isle of Harris on 14th-15th November 2023. The works were required due to the presence of post-medieval ruins and shell midden deposits in the surrounding area. The area for the house footprint was found to cover a rocky outcrop and no archaeological features were found.
