Archaeological watching brief reveals no significant features during construction site clearance in Kensaleyre, suggesting low archaeological potential.
An archaeological watching brief was required to during all site clearance for construction of an access track, new house and associated services. The archaeological watching brief was carried out across the 9th and 10th October 2023. Topsoil was removed by machine with a completed area observed totalling approximately 930m2. Despite the potential for buried archaeology, the watching brief at Kensaleyre revealed no archaeological features or deposits.
