Abstract Financial independence is the need of the hour in all professions, more so in medical field where earnings start a little late as compared to other professions. This delay and the onset of family responsibilities, further delay financial education and independence amongst female medical professionals. We intended to do a cross-sectional survey assessing the status of financial literacy amongst female anaesthesiologists.
