This work proposes a hypothesis linking oxidative stress to intra-atomic instability, suggesting implications for cellular aging.
This work proposes a novel biophysical hypothesis concerning the intra-atomic origins of oxidative stress. Unlike the classical biochemical model of homolytic bond cleavage, the author describes a mechanism of "orbital kinetic destabilization." The study examines how fluctuations in electronic orbital eccentricity lead to inter-electronic interference, subsequent nuclear capture, and the emission of high-spin tri-radical complexes. This process, occurring on a femtosecond timescale, suggests a new "Quantum Aging Theory" where cellular degradation is viewed as a consequence of sub-atomic geometric chaos.
