Abstract

This systematic literature review examines the state of knowledge on environmental change, agrarian transformation and migration in Tajikistan, a country that has received limited attention from researchers. Tajikistan's vulnerability to environmental change has profound implications for its agrarian economy and the migration patterns it generates. We conducted a systematic review of the literature in three languages: English, Russian and French. Drawing on multidisciplinary perspectives, the analysis highlights research gaps, methodological challenges and potential avenues for future investigation in this field.
