This paper examines the symbolism of colors in English and Karakalpak proverbs and idioms from a comparative linguistic perspective. Proverbs represent an important part of folklore and reflect the cultural values, traditions, and worldview of a nation. The study focuses on how different colors function as symbolic elements that express emotions, moral qualities, and social attitudes in both languages. Through the analysis of selected proverbs and idioms, the research identifies both universal and culture-specific meanings of colors.
