General relativity interprets gravity as a geometric effect in which mass curves spacetime, which has become the mainstream core view in modern physics. However, from the perspective of physical reality and logical consistency, this hypothesis has fundamental contradictions. Gravity is a 360° omni-directional, spherically symmetric, isotropic action-at-a-distance interaction between substances, rather than a one-way pressure, so it cannot form a unified curved shape in the whole space. Spacetime has no physical structure or elastic deformation basis, so there is no physical carrier that can be curved. Celestial bodies at different positions, distances and masses in the universe exert gravitational forces of different magnitudes and directions on the same spatial point. According to the spacetime curvature theory, the same spatial position would have to possess countless different curvatures at the same time, which is completely impossible geometrically and physically. Faced with core contradictions, the mainstream theory often evades them by saying it is “just an analogy”, but this analogy completely violates physical facts in the essence and direction of force, lacking scientific rationality. This paper rigorously demonstrates that spacetime curvature has no physical reality, gravity is a real action-at-a-distance interaction between substances, and the laws of cosmic operation should be based on energy-matter conversion and force interactions, not the geometrized spacetime curvature theory.
