ABSTRACT A study of the Wigner functions for massless Dirac fermions in a graphene layer lying in the plane interacting with a homogeneous external magnetic field is provided. Since, at low‐energy excitations, the Dirac–Weyl equation is what describes the movement of such charge carriers and is a matrix equation, it is necessary to describe the Wigner function as a matrix function in phase space. By solving the ‐Dirac–Weyl equation, the Landau levels, as well as the Wigner functions for graphene electrons in the presence of a magnetic field, are obtained.
