Galadriel is one of the boldest and most multidimensionally drawn characters in J. R. R. Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings. She possesses great magical powers that include telepathy, precognition, and the ability to conjure up realms. In her life that is endless life, she underwent several temptations, mostly the influence of the ring. The refusal to destroy the One Ring shows her personal power. Textual analysis is used as a methodology to reflect Galadriel as a hero of the text. Eventually, when compared to the conventional figure of the Tolkien heroes, Galadriel develops a different kind of power. The power of the mind, insight, and feelings. This shows women’s empowerment as having moral and political authority in the absence of physical force. The article tries to bring out Galadriel’s power and exhibit the empowerment she underwent in all her struggles while in the process of achieving the status of a monarch. In this regard, although the views of Tolkien in terms of gender are to some extent traditional, assuming that men and women should have distinct roles in society. Galadriel is rebellious, at least, and strives to compete with men. With this, it is possible to understand her character’s specificity and the constant development of women’s role in fantasy literature.
