India's National Education Policy 2020 (NEP 2020) represents a transformative commitment to educational modernization through early vocational integration, flexible learning pathways, and competency-based assessments. This research paper examines seven successful international vocational education and training (VET) models—Germany, Switzerland, Singapore, Denmark, Finland, Austria, and New Zealand—and analyzes their applicability to NEP 2020 implementation. By systematically integrating these proven international practices, India can enhance workforce alignment with industry needs, reduce youth unemployment, and create a sustainable vocational education ecosystem of international quality.
