Over a decade after "lights" descriptors were banned, pack color was not associated with reduced relative harm perceptions among a sample of young people. "Lights" was rarely used when referring to Gold and Silver packs. However, Marlboro Gold was perceived as easier to inhale, prompting concerns about appeal to young people.
