Multimedia cartographic works are becoming increasingly widespread. This paper reveals the features of creating cartographic animations that visualize climate data in the software Adobe Animate. The advantage of this application is its user-friendly interface, specially designed for creating various types of animations, as well as the ability to customize the transformation of animation elements, which is necessary when displaying dynamic parameters of climate maps. The advantages of cartographic animations over analog maps for visualizing the dynamics of climate change over time and space are noted. The method of animating isolines (including pseudo-isolines) is described. For example, the “Shape Tween” transformation type is considered, using the function of creating “Shape Hints” for more accurate cartographic visualization of animated elements of thematic content. Animation acceleration (deceleration) modes are considered, such as: “No Ease” in which the transformation occurs at the same speed to visualize the general nature of changes in climatic conditions; “Sine” from the “Ease In Out” group for a more vivid display of the characteristics of climatic conditions over different time periods.
