Key Points

  • This research investigates the use of nitroxide radical polymonothiocarbonates to reduce energy losses in organic solar cells.
  • Demonstrated the use of racemic and isotactic nitroxide radical polymonothiocarbonates as solid additives.
  • Evaluated the impact of these additives on energy loss, efficiency, and stability of NFAs-OSCs.
  • The solid additives significantly mitigated non-radiative energy losses.
  • Boosted the efficiency of non-fullerene organic solar cells.
  • Enhanced stability was observed in the treated cells.

Abstract

The racemic and isotactic nitroxide radical polymonothiocarbonates are first demonstrated as effective dual function solid additives that mitigate non-radiative energy losses, boosting both the efficiency and stability of NFAs-OSCs.
