Relying on the characteristics of the mountain-shaped retreating terrace-style lapping column transfer structure in a museum in Hangzhou, and aiming to present the architectural form of “stacking stones to form a mountain” with natural geometric textures, this study developed a mix proportion design of self-compacting fair-faced concrete and an imitation wood-grain surface processing technology that met architectural and performance requirements. Based on systematic research, the optimized mix proportion per unit volume was obtained as follows: sand 1: sand 2: sand 3: gravel 1: gray cement: white cement: granulated blast furnace slag: white silica fume: steel fiber: water reducer: water = 273.5 kg: 273.5 kg: 273.5 kg: 273.5 kg: 265 kg: 265 kg: 228 kg: 190 kg: 187 kg: 15 kg: 184 kg. The diffusivity, compactness, density, flowability, compressive and flexural strength were respectively 720 mm, 0.97, 2364.14 kg/m3, 4.67s, 119.7 MPa, and 17.48 MPa. The performance requirements of high strength, high toughness, high durability, and low shrinkage of the substrate were achieved. For the surface effect of imitation wood grain, the casting formwork was made of wire-brushed pine boards manufactured by the circular-cutting method. A post-processing slurry wiping technology with high controllability and excellent durability (mixture proportion: 42.5 Shila Cement: Water: Mapei Emulsion L = 75%: 12.5%: 12.5%) was applied to the formed panels. By this means, the aim of enhancing surface texture contrast and durability was achieved.
