This work presents an analysis of CMS Open Data (Run 2012 TauPlusX dataset), focusing on Higgs to tau-tau reconstruction. The study includes data/MC comparison, tau identification using machine learning methods, and evaluation of signal extraction performance. The analysis pipeline is fully reproducible using open datasets and Python-based tools (uproot, awkward, numpy, matplotlib). Results show consistency with Standard Model expectations within statistical uncertainty. This work is intended as a reproducible data analysis study using publicly available CERN data.
