Abstract

This dataset contains the anonymized perioperative, anesthetic, and short-term follow-up data underlying the technical note: “Feasibility of LESS TEP inguinal hernia repair without general anesthesia: a technical note and initial experience” Overview The dataset documents the initial two consecutive cases of laparo-endoscopic single-site totally extraperitoneal (LESS TEP) inguinal hernia repair performed without general anesthesia by an experienced surgical team. Both cases were intentionally selected as low-complexity, unilateral, primary inguinal hernias during the early adoption phase of this approach.
