Investigation reveals weak dependence in measurement outcomes, suggesting novel implications for quantum physics.
We investigate a minimal extension of standard assumptions in repeated quantum measurements. Measurement outcomes are typically treated as stationary and independent across repetitions. We examine the possibility of weak intrinsic dependence between successive measurements and derive a simple signature capturing such behavior. A statistical detection framework is formulated, and quantitative detectability bounds are established under realistic noise models.
