The Microprocessor–Microcontroller Virtual Experimentation Lab is a web-based platform developed to simulate and analyze the architectural behavior of 8086 microprocessor and 8051 microcontroller systems through an interactive interface. The system enables bidirectional experimentation, allowing users to explore integration and decomposition of components using structured simulation techniques. It incorporates a rule-based validation engine to verify correct peripheral interfacing and system configuration during experiments. Developed using a backend framework with HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap for the frontend, the platform provides a responsive and intuitive user experience. The system assists students, researchers, and educators in understanding embedded system design principles, reducing dependency on physical hardware while enhancing accessibility and conceptual clarity through interactive and visual learning.
