Why the study?
With population aging leading to multimorbidity and fragile social backgrounds, patient-centered care and multidisciplinary interventions must be initiated from the hyperacute phase in the cardiovascular ICU.
Multidisciplinary interventions in the cardiovascular ICU, including early rehabilitation and nutritional support, are essential for patient-centered care and may help prevent readmissions and maintain quality of life.
Supports multidisciplinary cardiovascular ICU care; leaves open need for RCTs to confirm readmission and QoL benefits.
