Does echocardiographic score predict clinical and hemodynamic outcomes after percutaneous mitral balloon valvotomy?
Percutaneous mitral balloon valvotomy provides excellent clinical and hemodynamic results with low restenosis rates in patients with an echocardiographic score of 8 or less, whereas outcomes are significantly worse in those with higher scores.
