This article examines ways to update educational institutions’ educational work, achieve greater dynamism, and enhance the importance of extracurricular activities. Particular attention is given to the event-based approach to the educational process as one of the most promising approaches, shifting the emphasis from the transmission of predetermined knowledge and norms to the organization of spaces for shared existence between children and adults and the creation of child-adult communities.
