The manuscript proposes a conceptual reconstruction of energy equivalence, linking classical work and wave motion.
This manuscript proposes a symbolic and geometric reinterpretation of Einstein’s mass–energy equivalence by connecting the classical work relation, Newtonian force, and wave-based motion. The analysis begins with E = Fd and F = ma, identifies the effective displacement with a wavelength λ, and derives a characteristic wave-acceleration scale from the time variation of the wave velocity. This leads to the expression E = m(λ/T)², which reduces to E = mc² when λ/T is identified with the speed of light. Rather than presenting an alternative derivation of special relativity, the work is framed as a conceptual reconstruction intended to highlight structural similarities between mechanical work, periodic wave motion, and relativistic rest energy. It may serve as a basis for further theoretical discussion regarding possible symbolic bridges between classical mechanics, wave theory, and relativistic energy formulations.
