Abstract Pseudocyesis, or false pregnancy, is a rare condition in which a woman firmly believes she is pregnant despite the absence of a fetus. It is often associated with psychological, social, and cultural factors. It may also present with physical symptoms which mimicking pregnancy. In this case series, we are presenting two females who developed pseudocyesis in the context of longstanding infertility, marital pressure, and psychosocial stressors. This case series also highlights the complex interaction between psychological, cultural, and biological factors in the genesis of pseudocyesis.
