Moringa oleifera Lam. is a nutrient‐dense plant widely recognized for its medicinal and antioxidant properties. This study systematically assessed the nutritional and antioxidant characteristics of M. oleifera leaves obtained from local markets and commercial supermarkets in Bangladesh. Leaf samples were analyzed for proximate composition and mineral content (N, P, K, Ca, Mg, S, Zn, Fe, Mn, and Na), vitamins (A, C, and E), and antioxidant compounds, including β‐carotene, total phenolic content (TPC), and total flavonoid content (TFC). Significant intersource variation was observed across all measured parameters ( p < 0.05). Commercially sourced leaves generally exhibit higher protein (31.63%), carbohydrate (48.59%), and mineral content (N: 5.87%; P: 0.56%; K: 5.63%; Ca: 3.81%; Mg: 0.85%; S: 0.68%), as well as vitamins (C: 223.58 mg/100 g FW; A: 3.39 mg/100 g; E: 130.27 mg/100 g), and antioxidant compounds (β‐carotene: 40.69 mg/100 g; TPC: 3.18 mg GAE/g; TFC: 2.88 mg QE/g) compared to locally sourced leaves. Multivariate Z ‐score heatmap analysis and hierarchical clustering revealed distinct nutritional groupings among M. oleifera leaf sources, indicating strong associations between vitamin A and β‐carotene as well as coordinated variation of protein and carbohydrate, while micronutrients varied independently. These findings highlight significant compositional variability across market sources, likely influenced by cultivation practices, soil mineral content, and postharvest handling. The study provides a quantitative benchmark for leaf quality in Bangladesh and underscores the importance of standardized production and supply‐chain management to ensure consistent nutritional quality and functional properties.
