This article explores the use of midterm reflective course evaluations in making timely adjustments to online courses. Over six semesters, the researchers implemented midterm reflective course evaluations into their online courses. Using the Fearless Teaching Framework, the researchers analyzed feedback from 438 students related to classroom climate, course content, teaching practices and assessment. Findings suggested that midterm reflective course evaluations lead to responsive teaching practices during the term. Discussion of the implementation of midterm reflective course evaluations and their role in a continuous improvement process informs others considering using this strategy.
