Case study evaluation shows robust cyber-physical systems improve recovery by 40-55%, indicating effective continuity planning.
Modern enterprises increasingly depend on cyber-physical systems that integrate digital and physical processes, making resilience against both cyber threats and physical disruptions a critical organizational capability. ational capability. This paper presents an enterprise resilience architecture that provides structured approaches for building and maintaining robust cyber-physical systems capable of sustaining operations during and after disruptive events. The architecture integrates resilience assessment frameworks, adaptive resource allocation mechanisms, and continuous improvement processes drawn from enterpr ise resilience principles. We propose a quantitative resilience measurement methodology that enables organizations to assess their current resilience posture and track improvements over time. The architecture incorporates lessons from adaptive defense frameworks and applies them at the enterprise level, creating a comprehensive approach to organizational resilience. Case study evaluation across three industry sectors demonstrates that organizations implementing the proposed architecture achieve 40-55% faster recovery from disruptive events.
