Introduces a framework for understanding AI-mediated transactions, highlighting its implications for business infrastructures.
This paper introduces AI-to-AI (A2A) as a structural framework for understanding AI-mediated transaction systems in which artificial intelligence systems increasingly participate in transaction initiation, evaluation, and execution. Rather than treating AI as a supporting tool for human decision-making, the framework argues that transaction systems are undergoing a structural transition in which decision authority progressively shifts from human actors to autonomous computational systems. The paper outlines the operational logic, adoption conditions, and infrastructural requirements of A2A systems, including agent-based coordination, machine-readable transaction environments, and cloud-edge integration. It further examines how this transition reshapes marketing logic, transaction execution, and enterprise coordination mechanisms. This work contributes to ongoing discussions surrounding AI-mediated systems, multi-agent coordination, autonomous transactions, and the transformation of human-centered business infrastructures.
