Abstract

We report a novel use of the Gore Thoracic Branch Endoprosthesis (TBE) side branch component for treating complex aortic pathologies.Two patients with high-grade mid thoracic aortic stenosis underwent repair using the TBE side branch as a tapered stent-graft combined with distal balloon-expandable stenting to coarctation anatomy.A third patient with a large anastomotic aneurysm of a visceral bypass underwent physician-modified endograft repair incorporating the TBE side branch as an antegrade branch into a dilated Dacron surgical graft.All repairs were technically successful, with symptom resolution and durable short-term outcomes.
