Research project demonstrates the importance of the Hahn-Banach theorem in functional analysis and bounded extensions in Banach space.
Normed Linear Space is a fundamental result of functional Analysis that plays a crucial role in the study of Normed Linear Space & Banach Space. The theorem provides the rigorous method for extending linear functional from a space to the whole space while preserving the boundedness. Because of this extension property, the Hahn-Banach Theorem serves as a key link between abstract theory and practical applications in the analysis. This Research Project focused on the detailed and systematic study of Normed Linear Space in Real and Complex Normed Linear Space and the application of the Hahn Banach TheRem form an important part of this work. Through these results, the Normed Linear Space is shown to be an indispensable tool in Functional Analysis. The objective of this Research Project is to provide a clear original and accessible presentation on Hahn Banach Theorem and highlight it's importance in foundation of further research in advanced analysis.
