Yong No Lee, who played a key role in the history of Korean plant taxonomy, deposited type specimens of names of new Korean species and infraspecific taxa validly published by himself in the herbarium of the Korea Plant Research Institute. After his death, all specimens, including the type specimens, were donated to the herbarium of the National Institute of Biological Resources. Information on Lee’s donated specimens, however, has not been well documented, resulting in difficulties for those examining the type specimens of names published by Lee. In order to ensure clarity and stability in the taxonomic application of names of Korean taxa, we consulted and categorized the type specimens and the other elements of original materials for names by comparing all specimens in Yong No Lee’s donated collection in the herbarium of the National Institute of Biological Resources to information in protologues. As a result, we now provide information on 94 type specimens (11 holotypes, 34 lectotypes, and 49 isolectotypes) of 45 names (20 species, 11 varieties, and 14 forms). The lectotypes of 34 names are designated here.
