Provides enhanced access to advanced nanoscience techniques for researchers, suggesting improved sustainability efforts.
Seven European networks of top-level RIs joined EU-funded RIANA project providingaccess to the most advanced techniques relevant for nanofabrication, processing/synthesis,characterization and analytic as well as simulation capacity [1].Highly customized and efficient access to 69 infrastructures, spread across 22 Europeancountries (Fig.1), is coordinated via a single-entry point and enabled through comprehensivescientific and innovation service by senior scientists, facility experts and highly trained juniorscientists. This core of RIANA is aligned to attract experienced and new users from academia orindustry and will be prioritized for researchers with the brightest ideas and approach to make bestuse of the RI for nanoscience and nanotechnology in view of sustainability [2].
