Numerical simulations analyze nonlinear Talbot patterns from interacting Akhmediev-like breathers, suggesting stability under varying conditions.
Using numerical simulations, we analyze the dynamics that arise from the interaction of two counterpropagating Akhmediev-like breathers. In the low-intensity regime, the system supports the emergence of nonlinear Talbot carpets with high spatial regularity. As the propagation distance and excitation strength increase, more complex yet robust Talbot patterns develop, including dipole- and tripole-type configurations. These spatial structures, reported here for the first time, remain stable over extended propagation ranges. Finally, we identify and discuss the parameter regimes that enable the existence of such nonlinear interference patterns.
