ABSTRACT Climate change poses serious threats to food security by affecting agricultural production processes in multiple ways. This study aims to analyze land management–based solution strategies that can be developed in response to this threat and presents a systematic and holistic framework through the relationship these strategies establish with nature‐based solutions (NbS). This topic, which is generally addressed in a fragmented manner in the literature, is thematically structured for the first time in this study through an analytical and conceptual approach; land management–based solution pathways that are applicable and can be integrated into policy‐making processes are proposed. The study recognizes NbS as a core approach grounded in ecosystem processes, while primarily positioning land‐based practices as a central solution domain for ensuring food security. Within this scope, areas such as sustainable agricultural practices, forest and rangeland management, energy systems, information technologies, and urban development are identified as key focus areas in addressing food security challenges. Strategies related to these areas are evaluated in alignment with the NbS framework, and multidimensional and implementable solution proposals are developed. In addition, the effectiveness of international initiatives and the relationships between the proposed strategies and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are presented; the policy effectiveness, applicability, and cross‐sectoral coherence of the proposed solutions are also discussed. In this respect, the study prioritizes land‐based solutions in response to climate‐induced challenges threatening food security; presents an NbS‐integrated, solution‐oriented, and policy‐relevant synthesis; and aims to thematically and systematically fill an important gap in the existing literature.
