Abstract

The present study focuses on the formulation and evaluation of a herbal anti-aging night cream using natural ingredients known for their skin-rejuvenating properties. The cream was prepared using herbal components such as aloe vera, turmeric extract, rose oil, and vitamin E, along with suitable excipients like glycerine and emulsifying agents. The aim was to develop a stable, safe, and effective topical formulation that helps reduce signs of aging such as wrinkles, dryness, and loss of skin elasticity. The prepared cream was evaluated for various physicochemical parameters including appearance, pH, viscosity, spread ability, and homogeneity. Stability studies were also conducted under different temperature conditions to ensure product consistency and shelf life. Additionally, the formulation was assessed for skin irritation and moisturizing effect. The results indicated that the herbal night cream exhibited good stability, acceptable pH, smooth texture, and excellent spread ability without causing any skin irritation. The presence of natural antioxidants and moisturizing agents contributed to improved skin hydration and reduced visible signs of aging.
