Interactive Effects of Cassava Starch Residue and Multi‐Enzyme Supplementation on Growth Performance, Carcass Traits, Blood Metabolites and Cecal Microbiota of Broilers

360 Ross 308 broiler chicks were randomly divided into six groups based on a 3 × 2 factorial design with varying levels of CSR and ENZ over 42 days.
Three CSR inclusion levels (0%, 20%, and 30%) and two enzyme levels (0% and 0.05%) were used in the diet.
Various performance metrics such as feed conversion ratio, weight gain, and bacterial counts were measured.
Enzyme supplementation significantly improved feed conversion ratio (p = 0.008) and final body weight (p = 0.024) in treated groups.
In the starter phase, non-enzyme diets increased feed intake (p < 0.0001), while daily weight gain was significantly higher in the control and 20% CSR with ENZ (p = 0.003).
Higher CSR non-enzyme groups showed significantly elevated E. coli and Enterococcus populations (P = 0.036).
