A BSTRACT Even though von Willebrand disease is the commonest inherited bleeding disorder with a prevalence of 1%, type 3 vWD is the rarest of all vWD cases with a worldwide prevalence of 1 to 2 cases per million population. We report diagnostic work up in this extremely rare case of type 3 vWD patient who presented with bleeding symptoms.
