Abstract

A mathematical model, developed over 20 years ago for elucidating the dependence of Zener voltage output on humidity, can now be generalized, that is, expanded to five main areas of precision electromagnetic measurement: DC and AC electrical quantities, magnetism-relevant parameters, and DC and AC electrical parameters. Via briefing the most typical experimental results in each of these five areas, this perspective provides a common physical understanding and finally gives a using example.
