Abstract Low‐molecular‐weight homopolymers of m ‐bromophenylacetylene, as well as copolymers and networks of select di‐ and triethynyl benzenes with di‐ and tribromobenzenes, have been synthesized via a coupling reaction utilizing a palladium (II) salt, triphenylphosphine, cuprous iodide catalyst system.
