The frequency dependent diffusion of the order parameter fluctuation of fluids is investigated at a critical point by means of a self-consistent method discussed previously. The correction to the simple exponential decay of the order parameter fluctuations is obtained by employing a numerical computation and is compared with the result of Bhattacharjee and Ferrell. Some years ago the author and Kawasaki11 calculated the dynamic critical exponents of classical fluids by a self-consistent method on the basis of the mode coupling theory. 21 (Ref. 1) will be referred to as I hereafter.) The non-Marl~offian effects of the order parameter decay rate and the shear viscosity were also studied
